Mark Gorman and Brian Thayer founded GormanThayer
with the desire to build a firm that employs an
approach and skill set that adds significant value
to our clients.

general partner who is seeking to raise capital,
(ii) the buyer, capital provider or limited partner,
and
(iii) the person or firm hired to help connect
both parties.
As these arrangements currently
stand, there are a number of disconnects that often
result in missed opportunities and a failure to
raise capital for businesses and private investors.
GormanThayer has a unique and diverse background,
having structured various forms of debt transactions
(senior, high yield, mezzanine), invested as limited
partners in hundreds of private equity, venture
capital and hedge fund structures and in completing
direct private transactions. This skill set
and level of knowledge acquired through these
experiences allows us to find our clients the best
financial solutions by structuring a marketing and
outreach program that is specifically tailored to
meet each individual business or private investment
firm’s need for raising capital. As a
result, we offer our clients a service that provides
